WTC Building 7: The 47-Story Skyscraper That Fell at Free-Fall Speed Without Being Hit

It wasn't hit by a plane. The fires were minimal. It collapsed into its own footprint at 5:20 PM on 9/11. The 9/11 Commission Report doesn't mention it.

Every American knows the Twin Towers fell. Almost no one knows about Building 7.

WTC 7 was a 47-story steel-frame skyscraper across the street from the Twin Towers. It was not hit by an airplane. It suffered scattered fires on a few floors. At 5:20 PM on September 11, 2001, it collapsed completely, symmetrically, into its own footprint, in 6.5 seconds - 2.25 of which were at literal free-fall acceleration, as confirmed by NIST (the National Institute of Standards and Technology) in 2008.

Free fall means zero structural resistance. Zero. For 2.25 seconds, the building offered no more resistance to gravity than air. This is physically impossible in a fire-induced progressive collapse. It is the signature of controlled demolition - and every demolition expert who has reviewed the footage will tell you so on background.

NIST's final report claimed "thermal expansion" of a single beam caused total symmetrical collapse. The University of Alaska Fairbanks ran a four-year peer-reviewed study (Hulsey, 2020) and concluded NIST's scenario is impossible. NIST has never responded.

BBC News reported the building's collapse twenty minutes before it happened, with the building visible standing behind the reporter.
